"The goal of Prema-sevā directed to the lotus feet of Rādhārāṇī's heart's beloved, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, can never be attained by such big personalities as Brahmā, Śiva, or Ananta Śeṣa.
That Prema-sevā can, however, be attained in today's world by the person who treads the path of Rāgānugā-bhakti.
The goal of this Sādhana can only be achieved by great hankering applied to serving Śrī Kṛṣṇa, following in the footsteps of His associates in their daily pastimes by the process of Mānasī-sevā.
I offer my obeisances unto these Aṣṭa-Kālīya-Līlās as they continually unfold in the land of Vṛndāvana."
Also:
"The sādhya (ultimate goal) of spiritual practices is prema-sevā to Radha’s prāṇa-bandhu (“life-love”), Krishna. Although such prema-sevā is unknown to Brahma, Shiva or Ananta Sesha, it is available to all who follow in the footsteps of the residents of Braj with a deep hankering. So, as ī now begin to elaborate on this system of service performed mentally (mānasī sevā) by those who travel on the rāgānugā bhakti path, I offer my prostrated pranams to their pastimes that unfold daily in Vraja."
