“It’s not enough simply to know the denial that “I’m not “this” [illusory material] body.”
There comes a certain point, an individual seriously inquisitive inevitably asks, “If I’m not “this” body, which body then am I?”
More than the idea of being an indescribable “eternal servant of Krishna” and being a spiritual entity, as well as psycho-physical tabernacle currently acquired, could theoretically be quite entrenched in the brain, just the realization that “I am not “this” body” without cultivating a more internal spiritual concept tends to give the “I” an internal spiritual dissatisfaction “formless” (nirakara) vulnerable to a corporeal nostalgic selfishness that “something is better than nothing” and the individual return to the subtle or gross mundane Rasas.” (Sripada Aindra Dasa Prabhuji)
"Realizing that the night had ended, could it be that Nidra Devi herself had awakened Sri Radha's Sakhis, who rose just in time to perform their cherished Sevas?" (Krsna Bhavanamrta 1.4)
"After awakening, they became alarmed that the time for Seva might have passed, so they began looking anxiously in every direction. Seeing that Radha and Krsna were still asleep, they sat quietly on their beds." (Krsna Bhavanamrta 1.5)
"Just to tease the others, one Sakhi yawned and asked, "Oh Sakhis, how have you awakened, being so exhausted from your sporting with the young prince of Vraja?" Then, as they
slowly became conscious, their beelike rolling eyes began to relish the nectar of Krsna's nail marks on each other's lotus-bud breasts." (Krsna Bhavanamrta 1.6)
"Because it was time for Radha Krsna Nisanta Seva, some of the Kinkaris began to string garlands and make Tambula. After smelling the sweet bodily fragrances of Radha and Krsna, whose hearts are firmly bound by Cupid's arrows, and seeing Them still holding each other in a close embrace, one Kinkari fled in excitement. She arrived before her Sakhis,
who were still sitting in their beds, and proclaimed, "Ohe! All of you come see how those two hold each other so closely!" (Krsna Bhavanamrta 1.7)
"Oh Sakhis! Place your lotus faces in the lattice windows of the pleasure house and cast your gaze within. You shall see how deep sleep pleasantly embraces those two who are so
skillful in Cupid's dance of love." (Krsna Bhavanamrta 1.
"Inside they saw that Radha Krsna held each other as They slumbered. Neither wore any clothing, ornaments or garlands, and the yellow and blue lusters emerging from Them
caused the jewelled lamps in the cottage to appear as buds of Campaka and blue lotus." (Krsna Bhavanamrta 1.9)
"Seeing how delighted the Sakhis were to taste Radha Krsna's sweetness, one Manjari said to her companion, "Oh Sakhi, look, look! Isn't that a dark cloud garlanded by a lightning bolt? It
showers the Kinkaris with Madhurya Rasa. Usually servants please their masters and then receive a reward, but today they have received it even before the Seva." (Krsna Bhavanamrta 1.15)
Lecture on SB 6.3.18 -- Gorakhpur, February 11, 1971:
"They save time in this way, and rādhā-kṛṣṇa-padāravinda-bhajanānandena mattālikau, be jolly in the service of Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, bhajanānanda. That should be the basis of jolly, jollyness. And this should be adjusted or minimized according to... OUR REAL PLEASURE SHOULD BE IN BHAJANANANDENA. Rādhā-kṛṣṇa-padāravinda-bhajanānandena. In this way we have taken very serious job. In this life we want to finish this material existence for good. That should be the responsibility, that "We are going to finish this material existence for good. No more coming." Tyaktvā dehaṁ punar janma naiti (BG 4.9). If you take responsibility in that way, then everything will be adjusted. Serious. My Guru Mahārāja used to say like that, that "Finish this business in this life."
SB 4.30.37, Purport:
"There are two kinds of devotees. One is called goṣṭhyānandī and the other bhajanānandī. The word bhajanānandī refers to the devotee who does not move, but remains in one place. Such a devotee is always engaged in the devotional service of the Lord. He chants the mahā-mantra as taught by many ācāryas and sometimes goes out for preaching work. The goṣṭhyānandī is one who desires to increase the number of devotees all over the world. He travels all over the world just to purify the world and the people residing in it."
"OUR REAL PLEASURE SHOULD BE IN BHAJANANANDENA" (Srila A.C. Bhakvtivedanta Swami Prabhupada)
"NUESTRO VERDADERO PLACER DEBE ESTAR EN BHAJANANANDENA." (Srila A.C. Bhakvtivedanta Swami Prabhupada)

Lecture on BG 2.3 -- London, August 4, 1973:
So we have no connection with Kṛṣṇa. But if we chant Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra, immediately our first chance to contact Kṛṣṇa begins. So it has to be practiced. Not that immediately I realize Kṛṣṇa. That is not... Of course, if one is advanced, it is possible immediately. So śrī-kṛṣṇa-nāmādi. Nāma means name. So Kṛṣṇa is not only name. Ādi, that is the beginning, but form, activities. Just like śravanaṁ kīrtanam (SB 7.5.23). So śravanaṁ kīrtanam, glorifying or describing about Kṛṣṇa... So He has got His form. So nāma means name, and then, rūpa means form. Nāma, rūpa... Līlā means pastimes; guṇa means quality; entourage, his associates; all these... Ataḥ śrī-kṛṣṇa-nāmādi na bhaved (CC Madhya 17.136). Na bhaved grāhyam indriyaiḥ. By ordinary senses we cannot understand... Either Śrī Kṛṣṇa's name... We are hearing our, through the aural reception, Kṛṣṇa's name, but if we keep our ear without purification... Of course, by hearing, it will be purified. We have to help. Help means to avoid the offenses, ten kinds of offenses. So in this way we shall help the purificatory process. Just like if I want to ignite fire, so I must help the igniting process by drying the wood. It will very soon get fire. Similarly, simply chanting, that will help us also. It will take time. But if we avoid the offenses, then it will be very quickly purified. The action will be there.
