No, they are not demons, to support the gay people in their evolution to krishna consciousness ,we must accept what ever is favourable for our krishna consciousness ...if that requires that gay people minimise their sex life or limit their breaking the principles bbstaying with one partner that is the situation for them that is favourable ,so by all means the sadhu will encourage them . Bas ! After all a sadhu ,a devotee is compassionate ,he hates the sin not the drowning soul caught in mayadevis grip!
Sahaja is also yoga. Yoga means samadhi. Samadhi means total absorption in the object of meditation. One can never feel love for the Deity with the intensity with which one can feel loving attraction for another human being. There are many reasons for this, but the basic one is in the Gita 12.3. The only way this will be possible is if we can see the Divine Person in the person who is connected with us in love.
But to experience rasa in relation to Krishna one needs to have bhava. And that bhava will be experienced with greater intensity by the greatest majority of people within their love relationships in this world.
I mock it for a reason...a goal is great, but detachment from sex life can be attempted by force and repression with layers of guilt and self sabatoge.. Or one can accept the value of a healthy intimate relationship, while cultivation of devotional Service. Sexual trauma is not a healthy path to celibicy..
Neither path is easy, but most of the problems in devotee relationships I see, is that they don't see the importance of cultivating healthy relationships in this world, but attempt to jump into the spiritual world in an exhausted state...we need to graduate, not escape
But by the culture of love, recognizing that Radha and Krishna's love is imperfectly reflected in our human attempts at love and dovetailing it with devotion to the Divine Couple _transforms_ the attraction to the numinous manifestation of divine humanity that is the object of love
But it is not "divine humanity" that is the object of love for the devotee in madhurya rasa. Krsna is, and only Krsna. Even if a soul exteremely resembles Krsna in every way, a devotee in madhurya rasa is not attracted- in madhurya rasa- though they may be attracted in sakhya rasa to have loving friendship with that great soul. Thus, the gopis were not at all attracted to engage in conjugal pastimes with Uddhava, though they accepted him as a friend who had come to console them in their separation from Krsna. Follwoing in the footsteps, which is raga marga, we also develop strong friendships with other devotees who console us in our separation from Krsna.
Therefore in Ujjvala Nilamana, only Krsna is the visayi in madhurya rasa. If taking part in conjugal relations with even great devotees, who have Krsna in their heart, could evoke the experience of conjugal love with Krsna, then the gopis would have been consoled by sexual union with their husbands, but it is described that they instead burned in a fire of separation, and kept alive only by sphurtis of Krsna.
One can never feel love for the Deity with the intensity with which one can feel loving attraction for another human being.
This is absolutely not true. If it were true, then the gopis would be more attracted to their husbands than to Krsna.
Krsna and only Krsna is the visayi in madhurya rasa, not your sex partner, and if again we say that but Krsna is in the heart of your sex partner, still we say, he is also beyond the heart, being everywhere, but it was not Krsna in the hearts of their husbands that the gopis felt attracted to.
And therefore in kali yuga nor vanaprastha and nor sannyasa.
Grhastha until the last breath. Is it then?
