dormant love for Kṛṣṇa - jiva

  • acerca del svarupa:
"although the soul appears to acquire or take on a spiritual form at the time of perfection, this form or constitutional position already existed previously in fullness "
This statement should not be understood that we were with Lord Krsna in the beginning and then we fell down to material bondage. This only states that the svarupa of jiva is never affected in bondage but it retains it original state in prema. There is a subtle difference here. This should be understood as : There was no time when this soul was not bound in the past, but when this soul attains prema it retains it original svarupa.
But what has happened to its original svarupa now? It is just as it is in the original state but knowledge (dharma bhuta jnana) is contracted (ie. like a lamp contained in side a big pot, the luminosity is contracted by avidya / karma. Once the pot is broken (avidya / karma destroyed) the lamp shines forth in its original luminosity which existed. in this analogy the lamp never was affected, only the coverings were affected during bondage and release.
That means that the original luminosity or in other words the nature of jiva which includes attributes such as : being eternally subservient to Lord Krsna, and to be a spiritual part of Lord Krsna etc. remains the same eternally through the stages of rebirths and prema.
Only when the pot is broken or when ajnana is destroyed the jiva becomes sarvajna or all knowing and understands his true position that he is always an eternal servant of the lord." (sri sampradaya)

  • Jaya Nrsimha Sri Nrsimha Letter to Rupanuga -- Los Angeles 8 August, 1969:
In further reference to your question about the form of the spirit soul of the CONDITIONED LIVING ENTITY , there is a spiritual form ALWAYS, but it develops FULLY ONLY when the living entity goes back to Vaikuntha. This form develops according to the desire of the living entity. Until this perfectional stage is reached, the form is lying dormant like the form of the tree is lying dormant in the seed.

  • Jaya Nrsimha Sri Nrsimha Krishna Consciousness is lying dormant in every living entity, just like fire is dormant within a match. If we simply strike the match, then the fire within will come in blazing light. Our method of striking the match is Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare.

sa ekadha bhavati, dvidha bhavati, tridha bhavati pacadha saptadha navadha caiva punas caikadasah smrtah, satam ca dasa caikas ca sahasrani ca vimsatih
    Srila Kavi Karnapura explica:

4 SVARUPAS, ETERNALLY AND SIMULTANEOUSLY !!!
"Prabhupada used to practice Sadhana there (Radha Damodar Mandir - Vrindavana). Even after their disappearance, the Siddhas (perfected souls) have a multiple personality, so to speak.
In a form they live in Goloka Vrndavana in the spiritual world. With another form they live in this material world, in the way they used to live before, as
    Sadhakas.
Sometimes they also give Darshana to their disciples. Gauranga Das Babaji, my previous Siksa Guru and Siddha Mahatma in Vrindavan, used to tell me that "Nobody went anywhere else. They are all here. All great souls are still here. If your heart is pure, you'll get their Darshana. Nobody went anywhere, they are all here."
There have been records that Rupa and Jiva Goswamis have been giving Darshana to many devotees." (Adikesava Dasa)
Siddhas Gaudiya Vaishnavas, the same Jiva, obtain multiple Svarupas.
    Simultaneously and eternally.
Eternally a Svarupa in Gaura Lila (male Kaisora). Eternally a Svarupa in Krsna Lila (female Kisori). Eternally a Svarupa in their Samadhis (with their Sadhaka Deha). And still, a fourth Svarupa in Krsna Lila if the devotee belongs to another Rasa that is not Madhurya Rasa. Also receive a Manjari Svarupa by the grace of Sri Gauranga.
    Four Svarupas, eternally and simultaneously.
“.... Those who engage in the service of Lord Nityananda Prabhu and Lord Advaita Prabhu generally have relationships of parental love, fraternity, servitude and neutrality. When such devotees develop great attachment for Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, they too become situated within the intimate circle of devotees in conjugal love.” (CC Adi 7-17)
"There is no rejection of the particular Sthayi Bhava which has been attained. There may be evolution and expansion into multiforms under the divine arrangements of the Svarupa Sakti, but there is no rejection of that which was perfectly attained.
Some Vraja Parikaras have two identities. For instance from lineage of Dhananjaya Pandita Parivar, who is one of the Dvadasa Gopalas called Vasudhama who descended with Nityananda Prabhu. Additionally he also serves in a Manjari Svarupa in Vraja Lila on account of his participation as a Sadhaka in Gaura Lila and receiving the unprecedented gift of Mahaprabhu (sva-bhakti sriyam -- manjari bhava).
We may understand that many Parshadas have multiple Svarupas for participating in a variety of pastimes. Dhananjaya Pandita also has a Manjari Svarupa."

  • Jaya Nrsimha Sri Nrsimha "But although Arjuna is with Krishna in innumerable different material universes at one time, still there is only one spirit soul who is Arjuna. This spirit soul expands into many different bodies and thus you can understand that there are also incarnations of devotees as well as incarnations of Krishna.
This is the power of the spirit soul, that it is unlimited. Such conception cannot be understood while one is still in the conditioned state.
